Tecnifibre Slash 120 squash racket

Tecnifibre's Slash 120 is probably the biggest news in the 2024 program from Tecnifibre. A complete new squash racket in the control segment, but now with the new X-Top technology. The Tecnifibre Slash 120 squash racket is an extremely light construction, reinforced at strategic points, which provides an excellently responsive and at the same time rigid construction. With a frame weight of only 120 grams, it is easy to build speed, just as it is technically at the top. Almost regardless of how the ball is returned, it is easy to pick it up from the corners.

The Tecnifibre Slash series is constructed as a control frame, with a round racket head. This means that the ratio between the transverse and longitudinal strings is small. It gives the advantage that the elasticity and the trampoline effect are close to being the same, which gives an extremely accurate return of the ball. Likewise, the shorter ratio, and the slightly shorter main strings, give the possibility of tensioning the string up to maximum tension.

Tecnifibre presents their Yoke technology in the Slash series, which increases stability compared to the conventional design while keeping the weight down, and furthermore the X-top technology ensures that the weight of the Bumper is reduced. X-top is one of the latest technologies on the market, and involves removing the bumper and replacing it with a composition of the Aramid material and PTFE treatment, which should minimize any friction upon contact. One of the advantages of removing the conventional plastic bumper is also to reduce air resistance. The bumper provides a natural "drag" of air, and increases air resistance. This is significantly minimized in the X-top design, and thus provides an opportunity for higher swing speed without greater power output.

The Tecnifibre Slash 120 squash racket is strung with Tecnifibre 305, which is Tecnifibre's unique control string.
